These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the DreamFight website at dreamfight.io ("the site"), run by Japancool ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this site is
This is the pre-launch website for DreamFight, a mobile app for tennis fans. Right now the site lets you learn about DreamFight, watch demo videos, join the waitlist, and contact us. The app is not released yet. When it launches, it will have its own terms that govern how you use it.
Anything on this site about launch dates, features, or events, including the Cranbrook Classic, is our current plan and can change.
Using the site
You agree to use the site fairly and lawfully. In particular, you agree not to:
copy, scrape, or republish the site or its content without our permission,
tamper with or try to break the site,
use the site to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, or
disrupt the site or the servers behind it.
The waitlist and contact form
Joining the waitlist means we will email you about DreamFight, starting with a confirmation. You can unsubscribe at any time. Joining does not guarantee access to the app, early or otherwise, or any particular timing.
When you message us through the contact form, you are responsible for what you send and for making sure you may share it.
How we handle the data you give us is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
DreamFight, the Japancool name, the videos, the artwork, the text, and the look of the site belong to us or our licensors. You may view and enjoy them for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reuse our brand, artwork, or content elsewhere without our written permission.
Demo videos
The videos on the site are early previews. They show work in progress and may not match the finished app. We share them as is, with no promise that anything shown will appear in the final product.
Third-party links and services
The site links to and relies on services run by others, such as our email, hosting, and video providers. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms and policies apply to them.
No warranties
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it as is. We do not promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted, or that everything on it is complete or final.
Our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, or from being unable to use it. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the site changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Durham County, North Carolina, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
